Pet Adoption Fund

where the difference is love...

Founded in 1983, Pet Adoption Fund is the largest private Non-
Profit No-Kill Rescue Organization in Southern California.

Pet Adoption Fund is the largest private Non-Profit No-Kill
Rescue Organization in Southern California, founded in 1983.
We are staffed primarily by volunteers, and exist solely on donations. Our mission is to rescue, shelter, and find loving permanent homes for the many wonderful, yet previously abandoned, neglected or abused companion animals.
On the average, our facility houses around 175 dogs and
60 cats, of all sizes, ages and breeds; and all are
anxiously awa
iting for their chance to great homes.

ADOPTING A FRIEND:
All of our pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated (rabies if specified), and microchipped.
All pets are provided with a personalized tag and collar.
We are placing what we believe to be a healthy pet. If the situation proves to be otherwise, we will help with the health care, provided through our own veterinarian.
If the adoption does not work out for any reason, we ask that the animal be returned ONLY to Pet Adoption Fund.
Our adoptions are subject to approval, an adoption fee, and a home-check.
You must be over the age of 21 to complete an adoption application & contract.
A valid California ID is required for adoptions.
Southern California adoptions only. Exceptions are made on occasions.

Donations:
Our shelter is in need of newspapers, blankets, comforters, rugs, sheets, towels, cat and dog toys, beds and baskets of any size, cat towers, crates, steel food bowls, brushes and combs, dog and cat food (wet). All donations are greatly appreciated, and help enhance kennel living while our pets are awaiting for their new homes.

Monetary contributions are also desperately needed, to assist us with the ongoing veterinary care expenses. Thank you so much for your contributions.

Special Note:
Due to the economic crisis our country is facing, more than ever, our shelter is filled to capacity with both dogs and cats. Being filled to capacity also means a substantial increase in our vet bills. It is people like you who make it possible for us to reach out to as many abandoned pets as possible, and continue to provide the best care possible to all in need.
