Welcome to PAF, the home of many wonderful dogs and cats available for adoption. Come on in and find your best friend today!

Pet Adoption Fund is the largest non-profit, no-kill animal rescue organization in Southern California. We are staffed primarily by volunteers, and exist solely on donations. Our mission is to rescue, shelter, and find loving permanent homes for the many wonderful, yet previously abandoned, neglected or abused companion animals. On the average, our facility houses around 175 dogs and 75 cats, of all sizes, ages and breeds. Since our inception in 1983, we have cared for, rehabilitate, and found responsible and happy homes for the thousands of pets who have come through our doors.

Our Commitment:
We at Pet Adoption Fund remain true to our belief that all animals deserve happiness, love and respect. We do not reject the old, the disabled, or the socially challenged.
In accordance to our no-kill policy, Pet Adoption Fund will be committed to providing shelter and care to those deserving yet less fortunate ones, who may never get a second chance at a loving home, and end up living the rest of their lives here at our facility. Thank goodness to our supporters and our volunteers, those less fortunate ones will never have to worry about being homeless or lonely again.

Hooray For Our Long Timers!
...only a few of our latest adoptees who found their happy homes.

It's been a great start to 2012 for the PAF dogs.  PAF is blessed to have some of its long timers find happy homes in January of 2012.  Some were special needs, some seniors, but one thing for sure, they were all perfect in their own ways.

Our sincere thanks to all the adopters who opened their hearts and their homes to the new additions, and to our supporters for making it happen.

baby pit in need of medical
Please consider donating towards his medical expenses, and for the many others who end up at our door steps. Thank you!

Baby Pit was recently found outside our kennel, left in a shopping cart and out in the cold. He appeared malnourished, dehydrated, and foaming in the mouth.  After rushing him to the emergency vet, he was diagnosed with the Parvo virus. Needless to say, he needed extensive medical care, and will be needing many follow up visits.

*1-15-12 Update: Baby Pit is on his way to recovery, and will be placed for adoption as soon as he is ready.

Medical Lifeline
More and more pets are being abandoned by owners, and every single one coming through our doors is in need of some type of medical care. Please consider donating to help us ease their pain, and save more lives. Thank You!
